Educational Background
Hon. Anom's educational journey demonstrates his commitment to continuous learning and professional development. He completed his Senior High School Certificate at Asuom Senior Secondary School before proceeding to Kibi Presbyterian Teacher Training School, where he obtained a Certificate A (Cert-A) in Post-Secondary Teacher Training.
His pursuit of higher education led him to the University of Ghana, where he earned a Diploma in Youth in Development. He then obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Behaviour and Conflict Management from the University of Cape Coast. Furthering his academic credentials, Hon. Anom earned a Master of Arts in Democracy, Governance, Law and Development from the University of Cape Coast, and most recently completed a Master of Science degree in Financial Risk Management from Presbyterian University, Ghana.
Professional Teaching Career
Hon. Anom's professional career in education spans over two decades, marked by dedication and progressive responsibility. He began his teaching career at Aboadze Islamic Primary School, where he served from September 1999 to December 2001. His leadership qualities were soon recognized when he was appointed Assistant Headteacher at Kwabeng Islamic Primary and Junior High School, a position he held from September 2001 to December 2011.
From September 2012 to October 2024, Hon. Anom taught at Kwabeng Anglican Senior High Technical School, where he contributed significantly to shaping young minds. Currently, since October 2024, he serves as the Special Education Coordinator at the Atiwa West District Education Directorate, demonstrating his continued commitment to inclusive education and educational administration.
Political Leadership Journey
Hon. Anom's political career reflects his deep commitment to democratic governance and community service within the National Democratic Congress (NDC). His political journey began at the grassroots level when he served as NDC Branch Secretary at R/C JHS, Sankubenase from 2000 to 2004.
He progressed to become the NDC Branch Chairman at Islamic School, Kwabeng Zongo from 2008 to 2012, and simultaneously served as the NDC Director of Elections for Atiwa Constituency from 2010 to 2012. His exemplary leadership earned him the position of NDC Constituency Chairman for Atiwa West in 2012, a role he continues to hold to date.
In recognition of his outstanding leadership and contributions to the party, Hon. Anom was appointed Dean of NDC Constituency Chairmen in the Eastern Region in 2016, a position he maintains to the present day. His extensive political experience and proven leadership capabilities ultimately led to his appointment as District Chief Executive of Atiwa West District Assembly, where he now serves the people of his beloved district with distinction.
