Mr. Shakil Mahamood Kpedau is a highly motivated and versatile local governance professional with over 17 years of experience in the Local Government System of Ghana. He is currently a Member of the Local Government Service.
Throughout his career, Mr. Mahamood has demonstrated extensive leadership and organizational expertise. He has served as the Eastern Regional Chairman for the Civil and Local Government Staff Association, Ghana (CLOGSAG) and has significant governance experience from his tenure on several governing boards, including but not limited to CLOGSAG Fund, Suhum Government Hospital, St Thomas Senior High Technical School-Asamankese.
He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Oil and Gas Management from Coventry University, London Campus and he's known for his positive, success-oriented mindset, Mr. Mahamood possesses strong expertise in community entry, public administration, strategic leadership, communication, and stakeholder facilitation. He is a proven leader dedicated to driving impactful change and collaboration at the local government level.
