The Atiwa West District Assembly on Friday, October 17th ,20225, held a stakeholder engagement meeting on its 2026 fee-fixing resolution at the Assembly’s conference hall
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the draft 2026 taxes and levies to be paid in the 2026 fiscal year.
In his opening remarks, the District Chief Executive, Mr. Amo Johnson Anom said the purpose of the engagement was to give the stakeholders the platform to participate in the fee-fixing resolution for the coming year.
He subsequently entreated the stakeholders to always fulfill their tax obligation and pay their levies and tolls on time for the development of the district
The participants were taken through how the fees and rates were determined, the categories and their corresponding fees.
The head of works department, Mr. Michael Osei Antwi, in an earlier presentation walked the stakeholders through some of the projects carried out by the assembly.
Stakeholders present commended the management of the assembly for the program and called for more of such dialogue.
